Basic Sequence - the nine hearts exercise
respect your limits, modify where needed
posture set-up:
stand or sit
feel both feet grounded and connected to the earth
spine is tall
overall exercise:
draw three hearts around the face
draw three hearts around the torso
draw three hearts around the body
Feel the LOVE
Explore the Movement with Breath :
Hearts around FACE:
place fingers at chin
INHALE draw hands up mid line to forehead
EXHALE draw heart around face down to chin
repeat 2 more times
Hearts around TORSO:
place hands over pubic bone
INHALE draw hands up mid line to upper chest
EXHALE draw heart around torso down to pubic bone
repeat 2 more times
Hearts around BODY:
place hands in prayer over heart area
INHALE draw hands in prayer up mid line to above head
EXHALE draw heart around body down to the toes OR sides of legs
can exhale out of the mouth slowly with enough pressure to puff out cheeks
slowly press outstretched arms down your sides with strength, as if you are pushing a weight down
repeat 2 more times
