Twinkle Toes
Your toes are intended to be as agile as your fingers.
The more flexible and open your toes are, the more stable your foundation for movement and balance.
Short Practice - crunch and spread

Do it about five times for each foot.

Everyday Living
Crunch and spread your toes as often as you remember throughout the day.
Notice changes in physical sensations the more your practice.
Ways I incorporate the practice into my day is upon waking before getting out of bed, at the dinner table and while watching TV.
The more you practice, the more your toes will twinkle :)
Yoga Practice
Give attention to your toes.
Do you grip your toes during a pose or can you let them relax?
Cue yourself to spread the toes out wide before starting a pose.
Press your toe knuckles into the floor to bring awareness to your foot and ground connection in standing poses. Take time to really feel rootedness.
Discover Amazing
Our feet are literally amazing and carry us through life. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude towards your toes and feet.
Each foot contains 26 bones, 33 joints and 3 golden arches. This means our feet are meant to be flexible and to provide a stable foundation for our body to travel the whole wide world or as in my case today, my backyard.
