The Basic Practice - step out barefoot style
respect your limits, modify where needed
posture set-up:
free the feet - remove shoes - footloose!
find some happy (non-prickly) grass that tickles your soles
begin in mountain pose (aka your wonderful posture)
weight back in the heels
long front body
step out barefoot style
lift left foot
bring left foot foward
setting heel down first
then small toe side (outside edge) and
lastly big toe mound
shift weight fully to front foot & push off with back toes
lift right foot
bring right foot forward
setting heel down first
then small toe side (outside edge) and
lastly big toe mound
shift weight fully to front foot & push off with back toes
Explore the Movement - go barefoot often
in my opinion, there is a special connection to our feet and the earth
walk as often as possible barefoot on the grass
feel the earth tickle your soul (soles)
